Dr. William “Tad” Coker

Hi, I’m Dr. Coker and I’d like to welcome you to my dental practice. Before becoming a dentist, I always dreamed of working in a field where my work would have a direct positive impact on others. I finally achieved that goal when I graduated from the VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond in 2008. I get a lot of satisfaction interacting with my patients, from the toddler’s first visit to the dentist, the emergency with a painful tooth, or the individual seeking to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile. No two patients are ever the same, so every day at the office is a new experience. Before leaving my hometown of Newport News to attend dental school I completed my undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. When not working in the office I like to spend my time landscaping, jogging and cycling and, most of all, spending as much time as possible with my wife Janet and my boys Will and Ben.
